Role: Our client, a local authority in North London, is seeking an experienced Service Manager to supervise on an interim basis their Integrated Services for People with Learning Disabilities team. The successful candidate will have direct supervision of 6 managers with responsibilities for: Setting targets, monitoring individuals performance and generally ensuring good practice consistent with the Investors in People Standard. Ensuring that staff have clear objectives and standards by which to work, integrating national priorities for health and social care with local priorities in Enfield Social Services Vision. Providing staff with advice, guidance and support on contentious and complex issuesDeveloping and producing annual team plans for each service, in consultation with staff, incorporating the Learning Disabilities Service Plan and Community Services Strategy. Working with performance and planning staff and The Head of Service in responding to formal complaints. Utilise information from complaints, Members enquiries and various other information sources on services, to develop a learning organisation and improve the quality of services. This assignment will be for a 12 month period where you will be accountable to the Head of Service.
