Amicus are pleased to announce the launch of our PQ programme for locum social workers and managers in partnership with Bournemouth University.

The Director Paul Argile said " we are delighted that Bournemouth have come on board to work with us in delivering these PQ programmes for our locum social workers and managers, across all disciplines. The company has always had a strong commitment to continuing professional development for qualified social workers and we believe these programmes along with our monthly mentoring scheme demonstrate our continued commitment to the social work profession."

The programmes have been designed to be delivered on a flexible basis so that they meet the CPD needs of locum and Independent social workers.

The three new programmes are:

• Consolidation and preparation for specialist practice
• Enabling work based learning
• Best Interest Assessor unit.
